Joe Klein is Baloney: Benghazi gravely misinterpreted

Joe Klein’s most recent piece on Benghazi confirms one thing: you’re still a jabbering idiot!  To summarize his post “Benghazi Baloney,” on Time, is quite simple.  Let’s begin with his tender and affectionate reference to Scott Shane – a leftist for the NY Times – commemorating an inaccurate gobble of deceit blundered together and slapped “approved” by the “flash mob” persona of the far left.  His introduction was romantic, and quite adorable while referencing Shane’s piece to be about, “the real issues involved in the Benghazi imbroglio.”

Klein is absolutely correct about one thing: Benghazi was not only an embarrassment to the Obama administration, but it constitutes the very failures this administration has ensured for US foreign policy and security.  Let’s concentrate on these arenas before venturing into even further botches and stoppages enveloping around the Obama “cover-up.”

Mr. Klein then has the audacity to assault the credibility of Rep. Senator John McCain.  McCain, along with a select group of GOP lawmakers, represents the only form of structure and leadership among the legislature.  He described McCain to be, “vindictive,” and is “certainly making a fool of himself,” referring to McCain’s justified objection of the administration’s handling of Benghazi.

Furthermore, Mr. Klein supports his criminally incredulous muck with a substantial spokesperson in Washington.  Who is more of a credible source than the (as Obama put it) “extraordinary” Susan Rice.

“It has emerged in recent days that Susan Rice had a lot to say about McCain when she was working for Barack Obama during the 2008 campaign. She called him “reckless” and “confused” and mocked the market stroll he took in Baghdad, wearing body armor.  I would suppose that these things hurt.  And so did the face that Obama wiped the floor with McCain during the foreign policy presidential debate that autumn, since McCain fancied foreign policy his greatest strength-actually, it’s his greatest weakness.”

In retrospect, Mr. Klein, Mr. McCain is a decorated hero.  Awarded the Navy Commendation Medal and the Bronze Star for his actions in North Vietnam, Mr. McCain (a retired Lieutenant Commander) volunteered for action.  Additionally, Mr. McCain was proudly awarded the most significant decoration while serving in the Vietnam Theater: The Purple Heart.

To suggest Mr. Klein that Sen. McCain (the bravest of men) had his “feelings hurt” is outrageously arrogant, apathetic, idiotic, and offensive.  To premise your arguments over Mr. McCain’s speculations to be directly in result of a disgraceful and irrelevant talking point is shameful.

Let's not forget the other key law makers looking for answers: Sen. Ayotte of New Hampshire and Sen. Graham of South Carolina.  Possibly these individuals have a personal bone to pick with Rice as well- or did the Congressional Black Caucus already identify this?

Klein continues with his article making bold claims that the Benghazi attack was not strategized and carried out by al-Qaeda forces.

“Was Benghazi an Al Qaeda attack?  Were the simultaneous riots in Cairo an Al Qaeda attack? In both cases, the demonstrators were predominantly salafist extremists, who are contesting the less extreme Muslim Brotherhood throughout the region.  The bright line here is between those who believe in democracy and those who believe in theocracy.  We’re hoping the Muslim Brotherhood turns out to be the former.”

So either the Muslim Brotherhood or the Islamic extremist is for democracy or theocracy?  And you hope the Muslim Brotherhood?  I steer towards the latter, and I hope for neither of the two!

How is Klein still stuck on ancient talking points when referring to the death of four Americans been carried out by demonstrators?  There is a prime reason why former Republican President George W. Bush created the DNI in 2004, then ultimately adding additional resources and command in 2008: so that all information from the several intelligence entities is to be consolidated and for this Director to act as the communication bridge straight from intelligence and into the President’s lap.

In  other words: Intelligence new this was an attack by terrorists (which Patraeus testified exactly) and relay this information directly to the White House.

Susan Rice already admitted that she lied and that this was not in result of “demonstrators” or (as Klein puts it) of a “Benghazi street gang.”

Again, Klein is morally incorrect by the furthest of irrationality.
